Adele has revealed that she moved to California in 2016 to ensure that her young family unit had a better quality of life.

The 33 year old singing sensation is the mum to Angelo, ix, who she shares with her ex-husband Simon Konecki, and admitted that having a child fabricated her reconsider her Uk lifestyle.

Speaking to British Vogue in October 2021, the star said: "Most of my life is in a car or inside a edifice."

She added: "I wanted fresh air and somewhere I could come across the heaven. Also, once I had Angelo, in England if you lot haven't got a plan with a young child and it'south raining, you're f****d."

Adele, who has a net worth of $220million, also claimed that the move to Los Angeles was partly due to the fact that she "could never afford" to live in London.

"And the kind of house I take in LA I could never beget in London. Ever," she explained.

"I looked at houses. It's similar hundreds of millions of pounds. I don't have that much money at all. I'd throw upwards."

After swapping the UK capital for Beverly Hills, the 'I Drink Wine' vocaliser has invested in three mansions in the area for her family unit.

In a bid to keep things as normal as possible for Angelo, Adele and Simon are neighbours with one another, despite splitting in 2019 and finalising their divorce last year.

Speaking nearly how she considered separating her life from Simon, 47, following their split, the Brit award winner admitted that information technology was better if they didn't effort to practise that at all.

"In the end I was like, 'Nosotros're not going to. Y'all've bought the house reverse my firm. Nothing changes for Angelo'," she said.
